1.A connecting hyperlink of an O-ring Chain for standard application is pre-coated with grease with the pins. In advance of connection, confirm the grease on the surfaces of pins, and in case the volume of grease is little, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are applied, the grease will be absorbed through the gloves.)
Illustration: When the connecting hyperlink (I) of an O-ring chain for basic application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted in the roots on the pins. When the O-rings come loose because of vibration throughout transport, refit the O-rings in to your roots of the pins.
In this case, make sure you return the grease collected on the roots on the pins for the central surfaces of your pins, much more at portion A than at portions B shown from the above illustration. (Portions A is worn as a 
result of sliding together with the bushings.)
2.The chain could be most quickly linked around the teeth of the sprocket. Engage the hyperlinks at both ends on the chain with the sprocket teeth and fit connecting pins. In case the sprocket may be moved, the chain may also be connected around the loosened side.
three. Connecting process
one.Confirm that O-rings are connected on the roots from the pins.
two.If the volume of grease utilized on the connecting pins is tiny, coat the pins with grease on the central portions.
3.Insert the connecting pins to the bushings of the inner hyperlinks at each ends.
four.Verify the grease is utilized to the whole face on the O-ring, and match the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
five.Insert the connecting pins to the connecting plate and though pressing the connecting plate, install the spring clip. Confirm no matter whether the head (the end without a split) in the spring clip is turned from the feeding course of your chain. (See the next illustration.)
6.Make sure you confirm that the spring clip is securely fitted from the clip grooves with the connecting pins.
This completes jointing of the connecting website link. Note that grease to the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings can be eliminated for the duration of set up perform. In this case, re-grease applying the grease on the surface from the base chain or even the grease within the polyethylene bag through which the connecting link was contained.
